Dahi ke kababs
Shallow fried kababs made with hung curd.

There are times when you want to try something new or may want to impress your loved ones with a new recipe…for such times try this easy peasy recipe which looks like you have put in alot of effort.
It has just a few ingredients and it is easy to make, just make sure you fry it on medium low heat to get a nice colour and crust.
It has a crisp crust and a really soft interior. You can increase or decrease the amount of chillies according to your personal taste. The batter can be made and refrigerated for a day but don’t keep it for too long else the dahi will become sour and that might ruin the taste. Another thing to be kept in mind is to use fresh curds for best results.
So let’s get started…
300 gm dahi, hung for 15 minutes, or hung curd
3 slices of bread, without the crust
2 heaped tsp cornflour
2 tbsp green coriander chopped
3 green chillies finely chopped
1/3 tsp pepper
Salt to taste
To fry
Oil
Breadcrumbs

Mix all the ingredients except those for frying.
Mix till you get a thick batter.
Keep in the fridge for an hour.
Make small balls, coat with bread crumbs and shallow fry.
Fry till golden brown and crisp.

Tip- The curds should not be too sour.
